Meet Hershey, who behaves like a totally different dog with only two sessions down!! We couldn't be happier - just this morning: I was able to unload the dishwasher-kids could eat their breakfast at the table without the dog stealing- she left the stuff on my counters! My two yr old still has his "blankie & pacifier" she didn't steal!! Oh and the bungee cord has been taken off the garbage can.
It is amazing!!! We seriously couldn't be happier. I am looking forward to our future sessions to keep this now good girl going. Best part for us is Jake comes to our house and sees the problems we have on a daily basis- it goes further than that- our dog is learning to behave with a "stranger" and learning to listen to us in her environment. LOVE THIS!! Thanks again Jake, you've changed our home for the better!

Regardless of breed or history, all dogs are welcome. Our various real world training and rehabilitation programs allow the owner access to a relaxed state of mind in their dog. It is important to not only teach solid obedience commands, but to guide the dog to be successful in making their own positive choices. Our personal obligation is to provide each and every owner with the tools and knowledge to achieve long term results. If your dog has been turned away from daycares, dog parks or other trainers, we encourage you to contact us and ask about our variety of training programs. Meet Jake, Founder and Head Trainer
Hey everyone! Jake Gordon here. I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to check out my website. Before opening Enlightened K9 four years ago, I spent four years working at a dog daycare and training facility gaining experience with dogs that most daycares simply do not accept. Many dogs that were labeled aggressive or fearful were given the opportunity to socialize among other dogs in a stable and well balanced environment. These dogs are often misunderstood and when advocated for and given proper guidance, can socialize as well as, if not better than other dogs! I have also traveled the country attending different dog training seminars taught by world renowned trainers and behaviorists. I thoroughly believe in continued education. No trainer can claim that he or she has nothing left to learn.My entire life I have been in a home of at least four dogs. I have fostered many dogs, assisting different organizations in the rehoming process. Yes, even the hard-to-work-with dogs are able to be placed in new homes. I believe the most important piece of information I have learned over the years is that when all of the small things that matter immensely to the dog are focused on daily, all other behavior issues evaporate naturally. A lot of what I do consists of sharpening up the basics that are easily overlooked by the untrained eye.
